Mrs Kay Clarke pins the Diocesan President's brooch on Mrs Mary Good.

It was with much emotion that Mrs Kay Clarke announced to members present at the Spring Council meeting on 26th April 2016 that Mrs Elsie Stewart had stood down as Diocesan President due to ill health.

She acknowledged Elsie’s disappointment having to make this decision and paid tribute to her for all the work she had carried out as a Diocesan Trustee. Wishing Elsie a speedy recovery, she asked members to remember her in their prayers.

Kay expressed her delight that in consultation with Mrs Phyllis Grothier the Trustee Body had elected Mrs Mary Good as Diocesan President. Mrs Good, wife of Bishop Ken Good, said she felt called and ready to undertake the position and asked members for their support and prayers.
